Rochdale kicked off their League One preparations with our opening friendly of the summer against Flyde yesterday.

Goals from Callum Camps and Scott Tanser gave us the victory in the game, but it was a fairly even affair and our hosts certainly gave us the challenge that manager Keith Hill would’ve wanted at this stage of our pre season preparations, and with them scoring their goal in the second period, a 2-1 scoreline was probably a fair reflection.

It was a youthful side selected by our gaffer, and young goalkeeper Jonathan Diba Musangu who the gaffer had talked about the other week, made his first team non competitive debut in the game, and the gaffer also took the opportunity to have a look at Cameron Park who is on trial with us.
