Rochdale are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Callum Camps in the three one victory over Chesterfield at the weekend at the Proact Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Camps was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Scoring one, and playing his part in another, Camps helped Rochdale all but wrap up three points by half-time in their 3-1 win at Chesterfield. The midfielder capped an impressive all-round display by firing in from 25 yards five minutes before the break.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Camps for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Dean Lyness (Blackpool), Richard Duffy (Notts County), Sonny Bradley (Plymouth Argyle), Mark Beevers (Bolton Wanderers), Matt Dolan (Yeovil Town), Callum Camps (Rochdale), Josh Payne (Crawley Town), George Cooper (Crewe Alexandra), Ivan Toney (Scunthorpe United), John Akinde (Barnet), Chris Porter).

Manager – Luke Williams (Swindon Town).
