Dean Holden has leapt to the defence of Rochdale manager Steve Eyre telling BBC Manchester:
“No one can work harder than the gaffer and Frankie Bunn in terms of organisation and preparing us for games.”
The experienced right back was a shock mover for Chesterfield, especially considering he was starting the large majority games for John Sheridan`s side, but since his arrival he`s been impressed with what he`s seen at Spotland.
“It`s the most professional club I`ve been at since I left Bolton.”
Good to hear from a man inside the camp that the players still have confidence in what they`re being taught.
Holden puts the expectancy on the players rather than the manager. “We`re professional players and we`ve got to go out and just perform.”
Easy as that.

I reckon Holden’s experience could be vital for us in the next few weeks. We need somebody with half a brain
Him and Stephen Jordan were a step in the right direction
