Rochdale’s League 1 season continued with a win against Fleetwood at Spotland on Tuesday.

The run without a Rochdale win was ended as Joe Bunney, following a brace in the draw with Bradford at the weekend, scored again to give Dale a one-nil win over Fleetwood.

Having failed to win in four Bunney’s fourth, in his last three-matches, early on was enough to give Rochdale the points against the relegation threatened Fleetwood to pull us further away from the bottom four in 16th.

These were the other results.

Bury 0-0 Barnsley
Peterborough 1-2 Oldham
Rochdale 1-0 Fleetwood

Only a handful of games, not too many goals either but some crucial points gained, and lost, in the battle to mainly stay in League 1!

A weekend victory against Gillingham was followed up by Oldham (two-one) getting another vital three-points when the Latics won at London Road to further dent the Peterborough hopes of a play-off place whilst boosting hopes of avoiding the drop.

Fleetwood’s (one-nil) own chances suffered a knock with a defeat at Rochdale.
