Rochdale continued their pre season preparations with a tough test against Bolton Wanderers last night.

The visitors came out as two nil winners following goals from Neil Danns and Connor Wilkinson, but many a Dale fan would argue the scoreline wasn’t representative of our performance of the overall pattern of the game.

Manager Keith Hill made eight changes to the starting eleven that had taken victory over Wigan Athletic last weekend and as promised, the gaffer gave a starting Spotland debut to schoolboy Johny Diba, whilst Ashley Eastham took the armband for the day.
