Rochdale ladies grabbed a last minute equaliser against Blackburn to earn a 1-1 draw in the Women`s Premier League, Northern Division.
The draw leaves Rochdale in 9th spot in the table. 4 behind Blackburn, but a comfortable 6 points above Rotherham below them.
Blackburn opening the scoring on 55 minutes through debut lady Lagan Makin. The home team had chances to increase them advantage, but a mixture of quality Rochdale defending and Blackburn prolificacy saw Rochdale keep a foot in the game.
The 91st minute saw Rochdale get a free kick on the edge of Blackburn`s box. Sophie Riley took the chance and smashed the ball in the net to give Rochdale a hard fought point.
