Rochdale are on the verge of signing Accrington Stanley (I`ve coped that for future pasting) defender Kevin McIntyre. He`s at the age, 34, at which kind journalists would describe him as a veteran, and he`s also out of contract.
The Lancashire Telegraph are reporting he`s turned down a contract at Stanley for the prospect of more money and the chance to reunite with Coleman at Spotland.
McIntyre can play at left back, a gap created by the release of Joe Widdowson, and has the bonus of being both an Accrington player, and from Liverpool; multiplier.
