Steve Eyre`s attempts to turn Rochdale into a Manchester City finishing school took a boost today with another loan signing.
Perhaps prompted by Oldham`s signing of Roberto Mancini`s son, Rochdale have secured the loan signing of assistant manager Frankie Bunn`s son, Harry Bunn.
The 18 year old has been prolific at youth level for Man City and is renowned for his physical presence, something Dale have been sorely lacking over this season.
Eyre is certainly excited by the move, telling the MEN: “Harry`s talent is widely recognised and we have had to fight off interest from Championship clubs and League One rivals to bring him to Rochdale. He`s a strong front man, puts himself about and scores goals.”
He`ll go straight into the match day squad for tomorrow`s trip to MK Dons.
