Rochdale vs Leyton Orient Preview

Rochdale take on Leyton Orient today hoping that Gary Jones marks his 500th appearance for the club with a win.

The club legend may have be half way to 1000 appearances for the club, but speaking to the Rochdale website he displayed typical modesty: “Personally I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here but football is a team game and we want to get a victory tomorrow, so that’ll be the priority.”

Hoping to help him achieve that may be Stephen Jordan. The ex Man City player will add to the defensive options available to Eyre. He`s signed initially on non contract terms, but with Widdowson out with shin splints he could well have a chance to make the left back spot his own. Leyton Orient are unbeaten in 6 games and have won 3 of those fixtures.

The carrot for Dale is that a win could take them up 2 places in the league. However, a loss could drop them into the relegation places.

With Orient in such good form, we`re predicting a draw in this game. We`re going with 2 – 2.
