Rochdale will kick off their FA cup campaign with a game against Bradford City.
4th from bottom in League one will face fourth from bottom in league two at Valley Parade on Saturday 12th November.
Rochdale can only hope they`ve found some form by then, as they extended their winless run to 6 matches on Saturday.
It`s a fact that`s not escaped Gary Jones. The legend made his 500th appearance for Dale on Saturday, but he knows standards have to improve. Speaking to the MEN he said: “If you don`t get results you find yourself stuck at the wrong end of the table and that`s where we are at the moment.”
It`s a view backed by his manager. “I feel we were a little bit unlucky, but points make prizes and we didn’t get any. We all need to be better, we all need to improve.”
A positive note was seeing Jason Kennedy back in the starting XI. As well as Tutte has played, it`s nice to see Eyre acknowledge that two attacking central midfielders has never worked for England, so he`ll struggle to make it work at Spotland.
Onwards and upwards, it`s only MK Dons and Preston next!
