The official Agents Fees have been released once more by the Football League and it makes good reading for Dale fans. Once again the club have kept up their policy of not paying money to football agents.


Between 1 July 07 – 30 June 08 there were 1,188 (1,174) player transactions. Just 38 of these involved the use of an agent.

10 clubs (11) committed to paying for the services of a licensed agent:

Rotherham £18,450
Wycombe £17,000
Macc £14,763
Morecambe £13,190
Brentford £12,000
Wrexham £7500
Bradford £5000

In total the 24 L2 Clubs committed to spend a total of £227,686 (£338,452) on agents’ fees during this period (1 July 07 – 30 June 08)

10 clubs (11) committed to paying for the services of a licensed agent.

The remaining 14 clubs (13) did not pay for the services of a licensed agent:
Accrington Stanley, Barnet, Bury, Chester City, Chesterfield, Dagenham & Redbridge, Grimsby Town, Hereford United, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Notts County, Peterborough United, Rochdale and Stockport.
