Striker and ‘alleged` OTIS member Nathan Ecclestone has returned to Liverpool after his month long loan spell at Rochdale ended.

e started with a goal on debut against Exeter, but like a cheap supermarket firework, the impressive opening bang never materialised into much else.

After 1 in 7 for Dale, 1 in 11 for Huddersfield and 3 in 21 for Charlton, it would seem goal scoring isn`t really Ecclestone`s thing. A shame for a striker, but still we wish him all the best in the future.

n a more interesting note, Nicky Adams has done his best to remain teacher`s pet by praising Eyre again.

Speaking to the MEN he said: “From day one since Steve came in, he has been fantastic.” Translated from media speak that reads as: “pick me boss, please pick me, I really like you.”

Still, if he keeps banging in winners, who are we to complain?
