Keltie & Wiseman Sign

It has now been officially confirmed that Dale have signed Darlington duo Scott Wiseman and Clark Keltie.

Keltie has been handed a one year deal whilst Wiseman has been given a shorter, six month deal.

Keltie was a player I had hoped we would go in for when he was transfer listed by Darlo at the end of the season. He was of course the man who scored an absolute screamer of a pen against us in the play-offs and provides yet more strength in midfield.

I honestly don’t know muh about Wiseman but the Darlo site has him down as a defender who has spent most of his career with Hull. He’s also had loan spells with Boston and Rotherham before signing for the Quakers.

These two signings do however seem to open the door for David Perkins who is being linked with a move to Stockport. Apparently there was a £150k valuation of Perks which had to be met in order for Stockport to speak to him. It’s all speculation so far but with the deal rumoured to be completed tomorrow it seems Keltie may have been brought in as his replacement.
